Employed at the time as a pannist with The Trinidad & Tobago Showboat Steel Orchestra, he performed at the popular US family-fun destination called Disneyland in Anaheim, California. Having been a professional pannist for ten years prior to that, he saw the need to upgrade the steelpan industry with his skills and ideas and decided to bring these quality products onto the market. Pan Sticks were the first to be improved and then came the cases for them, followed by the cases for the instrument. Leroy had known first hand the deficiencies associated with finding items to complement his overall image. He made it a priority to supply these accessories and out of that was birthed PAN 2000 & Beyond. At PAN 2000 & Beyond, the tradition has been established of providing customers with products of consistent quality on the promised delivery date at fair prices. Quality is one of the top objectives and so we work hard to create products which meet or exceed our customers expectations. We understand the importance of good communication with our customers, and that's why we strive to have a greater range of products available in more places than any of our competitors. From a business perspective, we acknowledge that in this arena, which can be somewhat seasonal, market diversification is neccessary in order to better withstand the effects of economic down-turns. Because of this, our methods of operation are constantly being developed to expand our capabilities and enhance the product range while sustaining continued growth. PAN 2000 & Beyond was founded over eight years ago, by its manager Leroy Wilson, a pannist who conceptualized the idea to improve the appearance of steelpan accessories.
